Otherwise interior is without flaw and this copy is SIGNED and inscribed inside front cover in ink thus: For Jill with Love from Pauline December 1985. Jill is Jill Johnston (1929-2010), critic, radical lesbian feminist and champion of the avant-garde, and this copy bears her distinctive stamp in blue ink which reads “Write first. then live.” J.J.
