This 307 page 8vo hardcover shows some white matter (paint?) at its base as well as faint discoloration on the front board. The jacket has seen better days as there’s heavy chipping at crown of spine; a triangular piece torn from the front (see pic) and additional rubbing on the rear at the crown and all along the flap. Laid in to the this copy is a 3-1/8 x 3-3/4″ printed slip bearing the books’ title as well as Michael Sumner’s braille-dot design. The book is now mylar-protected. Better than reference copy but the “chipping” may have been perpetrated by a common house mouse.
