Falbalas & Fanfreluches – almanach pour 1926

Seven only (of twelve) gorgeous Art Deco plates enclosed in folder with George Barbier’s cover design, as well as the Baronne de Brimont’s 5 page text (Le Songe d’Eve) in French, and back matter. The extant plates are La Terre, L’Air, L;’Automne, L’Hiver, Le Matin & Le Modéle Intéressant and those missing are Le Feu, L’Eté, Le Soir and Les Cerises. While all the plates themselves are without defect & eminently frameable, bright an clear, the page edges are significantly age-toned & a few are creased at edges, ot affecting images. Folder bears previous owners red-ink signature and cover is heavily sunned all around border, partially covering the artist’s name. The folder is also worn atb the edges.
