The White Album [Jill Johnston Library]

Later printing of the First Edition, hardcover with dust-jacket, VG/VG-. Book’s a little musty & has Simon & Schuster remainder mark (imagine that!) to bottom edge. The age-toned jacket has an abrasion to front cover with a tiny piece missing, some chipping to top edge & scratches to rear panel. This copy belonged to the late great Jill Johnston (1929-2010), cultural, literary and dance critic, memoirist, radical lesbian feminist and champion of the avant-garde, and it bears her distinctive blue ink-stamp on the dedication page which reads “Write first. then live.” J.J.
