The Mechanism of Meaning: Work in progress (1963-1971, 1978) based on the method of Arakawa

Very Good in brown-plum silky boards with a few scratches and small stain to spine at crown. 99 pages, heavily illustrated, 10″ x 10.5″. This copy is SIGNED and inscribed by Gins to the late L. Brandon Krall, artist, whose ex-libris stamp appears on the front free endpaper (in addition her initials and a date in pencil.) The lengthy title-page inscription from Gins, in metallic silver ink and dated 2011, also includes her typical addition “Arakawa in absentia.” Endpapers have a few light marks and cloth is gently rubbed at extremities.
