Very Good in grey boards in a Very Good dust-jacket, 296 pages. profusely illustrated in both color & b/w. This book is inscribed by an unknown “G.H’ or “S. H.” to the late Duncan Hannah 1952-2022, painter, underground film star and anglophile, and downtown NY denizen who graduated from those clubs to these clubs – “a club man if there ever was one”. In addition to the warm inscription, laid in are various signs of his “clubbing” — a folded map of the London Tube, pamphlets for The Arts Club (London) and The Reform Club (London), a tls from John A. Pope, Secretary of The Century Association, NY as well as the membership card that gave Hannah entree into the “reciprocal” clubs of Boston, Washington, Paris, etc.; and a few other pieces of ephemera.
