Bilingual Italian-English text, This copy is from the working library of the This copy is from the library of the late great Jill Johnston (1929-2010) cultural, literary and dance critic, memoirist, radical lesbian feminist and champion of the avant-garde, and it bears her distinctive blue ink-stamp on the table of contents page which reads “Write first. then live.” J.J. The text is fairly heavily underlined by Johnston on about 35 pages with occasional additional markings. Overall condition aside from the aforementioned is Very Good- with some discoloration to covers. Johnston was intimate with the work of the artists included and was friends with many of them as well.
