[Stan] Brakhage Scrapbook: Collected Writings 1964-1980 [SIGNED copy]

A Very Good minus condition softcover, 262 + pages, this copy is SIGNED by the filmmaker on the title page where also appear the previous owner’s notes in the same and a different pen than Brakhage used. Also laid into this copy are: 2-sided postcard for a 1995 travelling “tour” clled Spirit Stream Storm – 35mm Prints of Hand-Crafted Artists’ Films which included Brakhage, Bruce Posner, Charles & Ray Eames & others; 8.5 x 11′ undated printed MoMA program for “An Evening with Stan Brakhage, with 2 creases; and a double-sided (twice-folded) “Program Notes” for a 1991 Brakhage Retrospective at the American Museum of the Moving Image. Stan Brakhage’s signature was here obtained for this book by the artist Bruce McClure. Binding tight & firm, minor edge- and cover-wear, crease to spine & small stain to foredge.
