Three tight, clean, strong volumes in royal blue cloth and gilt lettering on spines, translated from the second German Edition by Gilbert Highet. 510, 442 & 374 pages respectively. 2nd Edition with deceptively different dates ranging from 1943-1945. Books are flawless save for corner crease to last 2 pages of Volume 3. Jackets are complete and generally sound but with some rubbing tio edges resulting in darkening to spines & edges Jacket of Volume 3 does have a closed tear at rear and a few spots and nicks along edges.
