MATTHEW BARNEY: New Work

Oblong wraps, 52 page exhibition catalogue; color & b/w ills. The present bookseller saw this show and witnessed Barney speak to the curators and docents about the meaning of Jim Otto’s butt and other details of his vision. Barney was brought to San Francisco by the late great John Caldwell. Some edge-wear to covers and white showing inside rear cover at bottom and it’s corresponding opposite page where something sticky created a tear. See accompanying image.
