Limited edition 8 x 10″ print using archival pigment inks on acid free matte paper. From a Western Union Telegram sent from Williams, Arizona by the artists Walter De Maria and Michael Heizer to their friend the art dealer Richard Bellamy (in New York City) on 6 April, 1968. The artists were traveling together and looking for ways to ply their crafts using the land itself, outside of the studio setting. Original Telegram in the possession of this bookshop. Cited in Boettger, Suzaan, Earthworks: Art and the Landscape of the Sixties, p. 116. Matted print measures 8 x 12″.
