An excellent copy of the true first edition but witgh a red star stamp to bottom text block & tiny nick to front board; some spotting to top edge. Ghost of previous bookseller’s pencil marking in upper right corner ffep. Jacket is whole & unclipped & faintly age-toned, now mylared. This copy is SIGNED only by Harrison to half-title page without date or place noted. Arguably one of the finest, most sensitive female characters drawn by a man in modern literature.
