Uncommon. Wrappers, 132 pages with an “Evatone” soft 45rpm disc recording at rear featuring Waldman’s reading of Fast Speaking Woman at Washington Square Church, 1975. Other contributors include Ron Silliman, Ellen Van Fleet, David Antin, Pauline Oliveiros & many others. Covers are rather heavily rubbed & creased while interior pages remain unmarred. This copy is from the library of the late great Jill Johnston (1929-2010), cultural, literary and dance critic, memoirist, radical lesbian feminist and champion of the avant-garde, and it bears her distinctive blue ink-stamp on the table of contents page which reads “Write first. then live.” J.J.
