ARG[HHH]! More dirty books from the Peter Schjeldahl Collection. This boxed set belonged to the late art critic & poet Peter Schjeldahl and it barely survived the 2019 fire at his Saint Mark’s Place flat, hence the slipcase, spines & some of the covers have the tinge of smoke (darkening & a faint, not unpleasant scent….) Contents of the volumes are not affected, still internally bright. Slipcase is quite worn with satining & tear to cloth, but intact & sturdy.
